Does the Volkswagen Golf have common fault codes?

Are fault codes 01130 and 01276 common on the Volkswagen Golf?

Not sure what you mean by common.
01130 and 01276 refer to the ABS system.
01130 - would suggest that you check wheel sensors -could be just a broken wire etc.
01276 - is referring to the ABS hydraulic pump.
