What's the best MPV for £4500?

I am looking to buy a used diesal MPV soon, with a budget of £4500. I have narrowed my choices down to the following motors: Citroen Berlingo Multispace Desire 2007/2008, Vauxhall Zafira 2007/2008, Citroen Xsara Picasso desire 2007/2008, Toyota Corolla Verso 2007/008.

I like the idea of seven-seats but its not a must. I would also like to take into consideration mpg and annual road tax. I do a lot of freshwater fishing so plenty of boot space would be needed. Any advice to narrow it down to 2 models would be greatly appreciated.

Not the Zafira 1.9CDTI. Too much trouble. The 1.6HDI in the Citroens is far less trouble at 90PS output than at 110PS because the 110 needed a DPF but the 90 didn't. And there was some cylinder head trouble with the chain cam 2.0 diesel fitted to the Corolla Verso, but otherwise that should be the most reliable. Check the entries in www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar
