What can I do to solve my DPF problems?

I currently have a Ford Focus 1.6TDCi (2009). I am fed up with the constant DPF issues, so firstly is it worth replacing the DPF (I don't think removal is a legal option). My garage has regenerated the DPF twice now and it has re-occurred again at 95,000 miles.

I no longer do high mileage so am considering a different car, the Skoda Yeti would be my first choice however I only have £6000 - £6500 and a decent example seems to be more than this.

95k is probably end of life for the DPF. The alternative is to have the ash cleaned out for £300 by the Ceramex process. I don't think you'll get a Yeti for £6k. You could consider a base model Dacia Logan MCV 1.2 if you don't mind a bare bones car.
