How do I reset the window ECU on a Peugeot 807?

I have just fitted a replacement window in the rear sliding door of my 2006 Peugeot 807. Now the window does go right to top but then comes down again about four inches. I can get it to the top by "inching it up " with the button, but have been told that the ECU needs resetting so it can learn where top and bottom of its travel is. Can you help?

You could try this

1. Switch the Ignition on.
2.Hold the window button until the window reaches the top and then hold for another 5 seconds.
3.press button to send window down ,when fully down ,again hold for 5 seconds.
Repeat this operation several times, then switch off ignition.
4.Switch ignition on and see if the system is now okay.
