Buying a Ford Puma - what should I look out for?

I'm thinking of buying a Ford Puma for £995. The seller has told the car had a number of advisories on the last MoT, which was done two months ago. These include front suspension bushes slightly worn, n/s/f slight corrosion on brake hose, n/s/f slight corrosion on brake pipe and slight exhaust leak at front joint.

The seller says this is nothing to worry about and that they sound worse than they are. Should I still buy it or find something else?

All that work needs to be done, so cost it and subtract it from the price. Also take a magnet and check the rear wings very carefully indeed for rust and filler, especially around the fuel filler cap. Rust there, walk away.
