Peugeot 207 auto problems

My Peugeot 207 Sport 1.6 2010 has an automatic gearbox, it has done 18,000 miles and I have had it for six months. Recently it seems to hesitate when changing from first to second gear. Do you have any ideas what might be causing this?

That's a 4-speed torque converter auto. All transmissions suffer their greatest torque reactions changing from 1st to 2nd gears so these are the first to go. It's a toss-up whether to take it to a Peugeot dealer or to a member of www.fedauto.co.uk I'd favour the latter.
