When should I change the cam belt on my A3?

I have a 2001 Audi A3 1.8 TFSI with 79,000 miles on the clock. My manual actually states 115,000 to change the cam belt, but everybody online, forums, mechanics suggest 75,000. I am now very concerned that I should change it. I have been quoted £300 as the best price so far for cam belt kit and water pump. Please can you advise me if this is necessary at 79,000 or should I wait as the manual states 115,000?
Yes, change it, tensioner, all smaller pulleys and the waterpump now.
