can I swap the wheel around on a 4x4?

I have a set of summer and winter wheels and tyres for my Dacia Duster Laureate 4x4, which I bought new in June 2013. I've done 8000 miles on the summer wheels and tyres (all alloys) and will want to change from my winter wheels and tyres ( again all alloys ) at the end of this month.

Is it advisable to swap the wheels front to rear to even out tyre wear and if so which wheels should go on which axles? I've checked the wear on the tyres and have at least 6.5mm tread on the front tyres and just over 7mm on the rears. I've only used the 2wd option so far.

Winter tyres are usually directional, so you don't have so much choice with them. But yes, put the slightly more worn summer tyres on the back and the less worn tyres on the front to even out the wear rate. This contradicts tyre safety advice about best tyres on the back for more stable braking in the wet, but that advice is not for four wheel drive cars.
