My Nissan Note is leaking

Water is entering the boot in my Nissan Note and we can't locate the source, except possibly through wheel arches.

Also, the drain hole plug had not been holed despite indentation there for that purpose. Have you heard of this problem with Notes or any suggestions please?

No other reports. May be coming in through the cabin one way vents at the lower sizes of the load compartment. Maybe via the light cluster seals. If it smells, it might be washer fluid from a bad joint to the rear washer.
