Which economical tyres should I fit to my Citroen DS4 Sport?

I own a 2012 Citroen DS4 Sport, which is equipped with 225/40R19 tyres. The price of replacement tyres appears very expensive. What would you advise?

eBay the ridiculous 19-inch bling wheels and replace them with 16-inch alloys and 205/55 R16 tyres from tyremen.co.uk/. The price of these new wheels of £335 plus tyres will be less than for the 19-inch tyres alone and the tyres will last twice as long, as well as transforming the ride quality of the car. You have to tell your insurer.
