Honda were generous in helping to repair an ABS failure on my 9-year-old Jazz.

I wrote to you recently about ABS failure in my Honda Jazz. Due to the excessive cost, I contacted Honda directly, hoping for some assistance. Bearing in mind my car was secondhand, nine years old and had covered about 65,000 miles, Honda replied with an offer showing a considerable reduction in price, and also contacted my dealer to arrange this work. It was all carried out, at a final cost somewhat less than one-third of the original estimate. Not bad.

Outstanding. That is partly why Honda just came top in a 'reliability' survey based on warranty claims. If Honda offers goodwill even at nine years old, it considerably reduces the cost of the warranty claims.
