Can you recommend a Rover specialist to look at my Rover 25 which is losing coolant?

I have a Rover 25 1.6 petrol that has lost coolant on a very small scale over the last five years or thereabouts. However, over the last week it has lost about one litre of coolant and my local garage can give no reason. I believe you recommended a garage in Wales which specialised in problems to Rover vehicles. Could you please let me have their name, address, tel, etc. so that I can get in touch?

What happens is that the 'O' ring gaskets between the heated inlet manifold and the cylinder head eventually give way and that's where the leak occurs. But because K Series engines were designed with a very small coolant capacity, any leak can almost instantly lead to overheating and severe engine damage: Head gasket failure, cracked head, displaced bore liners. Try good-garage-guide.honestjohn.co.uk/directory/searc.../ for a garage that can fix it. More on the problem at: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/rover/25-1999/?secti...d
