Which safe, cheap-to-insure car for my 18-year-old son?
My 18-year-old son has decided to take up driving lessons and will eventually have a car of his own. What would you recommend as his first car? My issue is obviously insurance costs but more importantly safety of the driver.

Citroen C1, Fiat Panda 1.1 Active, Peugeot 107 or Toyota Aygo. Depending on how much you can spend, also Nissan Pixo, Suzuki Alto, Hyundai i10, SEAT Mii, Skoda Citigo, Volkswagen Up!
