Recommendation from Caffyns, Eastbourne for repairing my Volkswagen Golf.

I purchased a MkVI Volkswagen Golf from Caffyns, Eastbourne three years ago and they have serviced it ever since. They have always been courteous, efficient and very helpful. After the car came out of warranty and at 36,000 miles the Mechatronics unit on the DSG gearbox failed. Caffyns arranged with Volkswagen for a free replacement and for them to pay half the fitting charge. The unit had to be obtained from Germany and in the meantime they provided me with a new Mk VII Golf totally free of charge. Franchised dealer servicing may cost more than the local garage but this excellent service certainly makes it very worthwhile.
Excellent service from Caffyns, Eastbourne. Please include them here: good-garage-guide.honestjohn.co.uk/directory/addre.../

But Volkswagen has been forced to warrant these transmissions for five years in the USA, Canada, Russia and China, so why should you have had to pay anything?
