Which small car to replace my wife's Citroen 2CV?

My wife, who has just turned 80, has been driving Citroen 2CVs for more than 30 years. Her present car has done 92,000 miles since it was new in 1989. During this time it has been maintained by a 2CV fanatic, has had many parts replaced including a new chassis in 2002 and a respray in 2009, in order that she could continue to enjoy the kudos of being a '2CV owner.' However I think it now time for my wife to have a change and enjoy the comfort and ease of a modern small car. Can you advise me of which new small cars, with petrol engine, you would recommend as a suitable replacement.

The closest is a Fiat Panda TwinAir. Even sounds like a 2CV.
