Which winter tyres for a Mercedes-Benz ML420?

I have a Mercedes-Benz ML 420 SUV currently on 295/40 ZR20 106Y tyres. Which winter tyres would you recommend for this car?

Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2. I’ve tested Alpin PA4s on 400PS rear drive Porsches in the snow and on 500PS rear drive Mercedes on the snow, and Latitude Alpins on an Evoque in the snow and they were fantastic on all of them. Alternatively, Pirelli Sotto Zeros. It's probably better to go down to 18-inch with deeper profile tyres, even on a 420CDI.
