Which winter tyres for my BMW 520d?

I have a 2008 BMW 520d Touring and am giving serious consideration to fitting a set of winter tyres as you have recommended on numerous occasions in The Daily Telegraph. What tyres do you recommend for my vehicle? Are you aware of any good deals for a complete of wheels and winter tyres?

Your BMW dealer can offer you a complete set of wheels with cold weather tyres. Alternatively, try www.mytyres.co.uk or www.tyremen.co.uk. Tyre Reviews recommends Continental WinterContact TS 850, Goodyear Ultra Grip 8 and Nokian WR D3. I’m on Michelin Alpins.
