What sort of mpg will I get from a Honda Civic?

I am looking to buy a 2010 Honda Civic 2.2 diesel. It has covered 34,000 miles and the dealer wants £10,695. Is this a good deal? What sort of mpg should I expect?

For mpg see: www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg/honda/cr-v-2007

It's actually very consistent. Around 40mpg. I got 41 out of a CTDI over six months in 2007.
