Can you recommend a diesel car without a DPF for towing?

I’m looking to buy a used car to tow a caravan with a gross weight of 1400kg. What diesel models/years do you suggest I look at that do NOT have a DPF?

They all had them from January 2011. Before then, smaller engines could achieve EU IV without DPFs, but most had them and almost all 2.0 diesels had them from around 2005. Surprisingly, Land Rover Discovery 3 2.7 TDV6s apparently did not have DPFs.
