Which Fiat Panda should I get?

I need to get a more practical vehicle since my husband now needs to use a walking frame / wheelchair.

At moment I only have a 2009 Aston Martin Vantage (which I want to keep, so both cars must fit into garage), and despite having spare set winter tyres, it isn't very easy in snow - I live between rural Suffolk and central London.

I would like to buy the 'new' 4x4 Fiat Panda to ensure against bad weather, and want advice on pros and cons of the 875 cc TwinAir engine or the diesel engines.
Also seems to be very few second hand coming onto the market , but want it for this winter.

You could also consider a Panda Trekking, which comes with 'Traction Plus' - a combination of an electronic diff and Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons tyres and that will probably be better in the snow than a Panda 4x4 on summer tyres. The TwinAir engine is petrol with a light flywheel and sounds like a lawnmower, but is very effective and good fun to drive once you get used to it. The diesel is easier to drive and more economical but is inclined to clog its DPF, then rev itself to destruction so I'd recommend the TwinAir as the better bet.
