Should I buy my company car?

A few years ago you recommended that I get a Toyota Prius as a company car – brilliant advice. Now, four years later, I’ve been offered the vehicle for £9500, but yesterday the price went up to £10,660. It’s a 2010 T-Spirit model with 32,000 miles on the clock – should I buy it?

Trade price for a 2010/60 Prius T-Spirit with 37,000 miles is £10,750, which explains the hike. Had they sold it for the lower price they could be accused by HMRC for showing undue favour to an employee.
