Does the Ford Fusion have any mechanical issues?

I am thinking of buying a 2008 Ford Fusion automatic, with 34,000 miles on the clock. Are there any mechanical issues I should be aware about for this car?

A 1.4 has an automated manual 'Durashift' box which I definitely do not recommend. But a 1.6 has a a 4-speed torque converter automatic. A 2008 should have the 1.6 with 4-speed torque converter auto. If it is a 1.4, then it was late registered old stock because that stopped at the end of 2005.
