Ford Mondeo - which wheel size is best?

I'm in the process of buying a new Ford Mondeo Zetec Business Edition. However, the 16-inch alloys are a no-cost option against the standard fit 17-inch - which is likely to be the better bet?

Go for the 16-inch with 205/55 R16s, which will give you a more comfortable ride, better fuel economy and longer tyre life.
