Why won't my dealer repair a number of faults on my Ford Focus under warranty?

I had the fuel pump on my 2004 Ford Focus 1.8TDCi replaced under warranty by the garage I bought it from. It took them five weeks. Now there a problem with the dual mass flywheel. They are saying that it's wear and tear and refuse to do it under warranty, and now we think there's also a problem with the recon fuel pump as the engine will not run smoothly - it seems to be running on one or two cylinders. Can I ask for this to be put right under their warranty at a garage local to me? It was a 3-month warranty and I bought the car in February 2010, but he agreed to extend the warranty till the end of May 2010 because he had the car so long.

Is it the garage that's refusing to honour the warranty or the warranty company? A decent warranty company would honour the items you have mentioned. You should also be able to have the car repaired somewhere else. If the warranty is essentially the garage saying that it will pay for any repairs, it's not a proper warranty and if they are refusing to honour it, you should get in touch with Trading Standards as it's not worth the paper it's written on.
