My second hand Audi has accident history

I bought a 2011 Audi A7 Quattro from a main dealership in Yorkshire for £34,000 in August 2012. However, in May this year the paint was peeling off in the area under the grille and, on inspection at my local dealership, it was discovered the car had been involved in an accident and badly repaired.

The garage I bought the car from have offered to repair the damage and to service the car as compensation. Is this fair and is there likely to be a reduction in value of the car?

I think yes because to attempt to reject the car at this stage could become very fraught. The law has now changed and dealers have to disclose this sort of thing to customers. But taking a dealer to court over a £34,000 car would be very expensive.
