Will a new XC60 D5 have a DMF and DPF?

I have run a 2010 D3 Volvo XC60 auto for 30 months now on mainly short journeys with no DPF problems. I am thinking of changing to a new D5 manual. Is there any difference in likelihood of future DPF problems between an auto and a manual, and will a manual increase the likelihood of dual mass flywheel problems?

A torque converter automatic (which a D5 Geartronic is) does not need a dual mass flywheel. Volvo did have some trouble with DPFs on its D5s, but the fuss seems to have subsided.
