Is this a good tip for solving an airbag warning light malfunction?

If an airbag light goes on, a quick fix may be as follows. The nearside airbag is linked to a sensor in the passenger seat. That link is through a multipin electric plug and socket under the seat. Apparently the plug can get dislodged by the seat being moved back and forth, and a little bit of fiddling with the plug and socket can often clear the error message.

Very useful tip. Thank you. But before fiddling with the connector you need to leave the car switched off for half an hour to discharge any residual current in the electrics, or you might trigger the airbag.
