Is the Ford Grand C-Max dual clutch Powershift transmission better than the Peugeot EGC transmission? And is the Ford fitted with a dual mass flywheel?

Much better, and massively better than VAG's DSG/s-tronic. The only dual clutch boxes that better it are Hyundai's DCT and Fiat/Alfa Romeo's TCT, both of which are dry clutch.

Tested here in the S-Max: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/ford/ford-s-max-20.../ and here in the Mondeo: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/ford/ford-mondeo-2.../ and here in the Focus: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/ford/ford-focus-20.../ and in the C-Max here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/ford/ford-c-max-20.../

Ford does not use a conventional dual mass flywheel, but does use a torque-absorbing flywheel.
