Which large, comfortable car offers easy access?

I currently drive a BMW 330d. While I love the car, I have recently had major heart surgery and find it cramped and low to get out from, so I'm looking for something a little more comfortable. I recently borrowed a Jag XF which I found very comfortable with a softer ride and soft seats. The height was perfect for exiting without having to pull myself upwards. I found it effortless to drive. The downside is the high price for the 2.2-litre diesel, and there are relatively few used models about. Can you suggest other cars I should consider? Comfort and value are my priorities. Also is there any dealer you can recommend for max discount on a Jag?

You don't have to buy a new XF. There are used 2.7-litre XF diesels from around £15,000 and used 3.0-litre diesels from around £20,000. There are two different outputs of the 3.0, 240PS and 275PS. There is also a second new, lower output 2.2-litre diesel for less than £30,000 that comes on sensible 17-inch wheels with comfortable tyres. For discounts on new try www.drivethedeal.com

For ease of entry and egress, the best is a Mazda 5 1.6TS2, but there is no automatic. Next, the current Ford C-Max 2.0TDCI Powershift, which works much better than VAG's DSG, or maybe a Honda CR-V 2.2iDTEC auto. Or the F25 BMW X3 2.0d 8-speed auto.
