Received a parking charge for a hire car I'd returned a week earlier - what redress do I have?

Today I received a parking charge from Parking Eye. The date of the 'offence' was 19 May 2012 but the car was a loan car that I had borrowed from Stoneacre Ford on 11 May 2012 for one day only. I can only presume that Stoneacre has given Parking Eye incorrect details. What redress do I have against Stoneacre for their carelessness?

Inform Parking Eye by Post Office Special Delivery that you were not the driver of the car at the time and that if they continue to harass you, you will sue for all your time wasted contesting this. If they indulge in harassment you will report them for contravention of the Prevention of Harassment Act 1997.
