Workshop damaged my car's jacking point - should they repair the damage?

Am I being over fussy by complaining to my local Kwik-Fit depot for the damage to a jacking point on my Peugeot 407? Before I realised what he was doing, the fitter used a large trolley jack under the jacking point and has distorted a part of it, with one edge of the large metal jack head (about 4 inches in diameter) damaging the underseal and paint into the bargain. I showed him the design of the car jack, designed to fit into the smaller curved area (which does so without any damage) and his mate said "We can't be expected to have stuff to suit all the different cars". I said I would have thought they would. That is their business.

You could get three quotes for repairing the damage, submit them to KwikFit, and if KwikFit refused to pay, take the matter to the small claims track of the County Court.
