Replacing an Insignia with what?

I am considering changing my car. I have had a diesel Insignia for four years but have had to replace cam belt, flywheel etc... which isn't cheap. The car has been fine other than that though but now has 87k miles on the clock.

I do an average of 20k - 24k miles a year, largely motorway. I don't want to spend anymore than £11k - £12k on a car that I will drive so much.

What is my best option - new / used / keep the Insignia? Spend less?

Get rid of the Insignia. Look at a KIA cee'd or Hyundai i30 1.6 CRDI.
