My recently bought Mercedes-Benz C220 has brake vibration - why?

I have just bought a second hand C220 automatic. The car has 108000 and full MB history till 100000. I collected the car yesterday from the trader, who had put it through his mechanic to be checked and MOT'd that morning.

On driving the car home I noticed that the brake pedal vibrates when braking from speeds of 30mph+. Could this be a temporary result of the car having been standing on the traders forecourt, or could it be more than that? I would have thought that any problem with the brakes would have been identified during the MOT carried out that morning, but perhaps that is not tested?

Might be no more than surface rust on the discs. Find a clear, straight, dry stretch of road, make sure there's nothing behind you, and do a few heavy brakes. If that sorts it out, no problem. If not, back to the dealer.
