Will sports suspension harm the ride on a Leon?

I am thinking of buying a new SEAT Leon. The model/trim I would like only has sports suspension. Would this give a hard ride on long journeys eg UK/France/Spain.

Yes. Unless you opt for the smallest wheels that will fit around the brakes, fitted with deeper profile tyres. Probably 16" with 205/55 R16s.
