What can I expect from Mazda regarding my steering problem?

I bought a new Mazda 2 in May 2011. It had almost immediate knocking on the steering. Subsqently the rack has been greased, had something done with/ to a bolt, and then finally a new steering rack. This instantly starting knocking again, so in it went again to Mazda in Tunbridge wells who say they can only start the process again and greased the new rack.

Three days later the knocking has started again. This has been a problem with a lot of these cars, and I would like to know what I can ask Mazda for in terms of good will.

Each time it goes in (four times so far and another imminent) I lose two hours of my day at least in rush hour traffic and have to organise work/family around it.

Mazda in TW are great and as helpful as they can be, but say it is up to me to approach Mazda UK. I don't want to be greedy or unreasonable, but this is the first new car I've bought (through Drive the Deal, many thanks HJ) and I'm fed up with it!

No. If you bought the car in 2011 then it is still under warranty and the dealer is responsible.
