Parking Fines and clause 56

I have just found a parking ticket at a private carpark from premier parking services. I had not had the chance to get a ticket and put on my car before I was ticketed. My son is 4 and partially sighted, registered disabled, I couldn't leave him in the car and so needed to take him with me. waht with that and a queue at the ticket device it took a while to get there and back. The ticket was put on my windscreen at 18:18 and my ticket displays 18:19 and gives me a free 90 minutes parking.

Before I would have just ignored the ticket, but with Clause 56 of the Protection of Freedoms Bill I'm unsure now what to do. I can find no information on private parking matters since the clause was put in.

This tells you: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/ My advice on the basis of what you have written is that this is totally unreasonable so, if they do not relent, challenge them to take you to court.
