Fault immediately found after buying used car

I've recently bought a 1.6 Honda Civic Sport only to find when driving it back from the dealership, that one of the engine emissions control systems has a malfunction which was shown by an indicator light on the dash.

The dealership has assured me that this is only a minor problem and I can still drive the car. They have also arranged it to go in for repair this Friday which will be paid by the warranty I received in the deal.

I would like to know what your view on the situation is and would you advise to contact the dealership regarding my disapproval, as ultimately I expected the car to have no issues or repairs required when sold.

It can't be paid for by the warranty because it pre-existed before the warranty and that would be illegal. The dealer has to pay for it to be fixed.
