Excessive inside tyre wear on the 5 Series

Had my 5 Series Touring around 12 months. Car has done less than average mileage. All tyres are as fitted from new and are Run Flats. What is disconcerting is that all tyres have excessive wear on the inside of each tyre. BMW, Rochdale, suggested that this problem was caused by kerb edging and pot holes. Not sure about pot holes but not due to kerbs.

Surely none of these would cause the same wear all round? Saw the car on the ramp and all tyres are set up as a slight letter 'A'. BMW suggested a 4 wheel alignment (cost £350 to me). Independent garage has quoted me £70 for the same.

Is this a common/known issue? Do you have any advice on how to resolve this as tyres at £280 each (BMW prices) is rather high. BMW have been no help. I am very frustrated.

It's caused by straddling speed cushions. The chamfered edges rip the inner shoulders of car tyres to bits. You should always drive over them one wheel over, the other on the flat.
