Why is the 508 RXH offered with such a big discount?

I have seen discounts of £7,500 offered on the 508 RXH - which should compensate for the likely heavy depreciation. I know that the gearchange is said to be jerky, but have you any information on the reliablity of the technology, and has Peugeot raised its build quality to competitive levels?

Absolutely no reports at all for the 3008 hybrid4, 508 hybrid4 or C5 hybrid4. I'd guess the numbers actually sold are tiny and that's the reason for the massive discounts.
