Start up problems when car is warm

After my car is warmed up and I stop, turn it off and within 1/2 hour to an hour try to restart it, I have problems with it restarting without pressing the accelerator to assist the start. This does not occur when the car is cold.

I've been told this could be either a crankshaft positive sensor problem or a need to update the softwrae for this car. I do not have any other problems when driving, i.e stalling, misfires, back fires etc. I've replaced the spark plugs and cleaned the trottle body but problem still occurrs periodically on warm starts.

The suggested way to find out what is at fault would be to have a diagnostic check carried out, this should then show up with a fault code ie P ---- 4 numbers. This can then be related to what sensor (if it is a sensor) is at fault.
The sensors that we consider maybe the problem are.

1. ECT ( engine coolant temp)
2.MAP (manifold absolute pressure)
3.IAC ( Idle control )
4. CKP (crankshaft position )
As mentioned rather than just changing any one it may be best to have the diagnostic check done first.
