Fuel consumption in winter
Hi can you tell me if diesel engines use more diesel in the cold weather?My economy has dropped from 55mpg in the warm weather To 46-47 Mpg in the winter.

Much more in the time it takes for the engine to heat up from under zero to full running temperature.
