Fuel consumption in winter
Hi can you tell me if diesel engines use more diesel in the cold weather?
My economy has dropped from 55mpg in the warm weather To 46-47 Mpg in the winter.

Much more in the time it takes for the engine to heat up from under zero to full running temperature.
