New or used?
I am looking to buy a car, but i can't decide to buy new or used? EVERYONE at works says buy used, 3 year old car can cost 40% less but a new car i will lose 20% of the value as soon as i drive it off the forecourt. Would i be better off buying the new fiesta with the 20% off the 1.25 zetec or a used 1 or 2 year old car?

A new car at 20% off reduces the three year depreciation to 20% and gets you a new car that is less likely to go wrong with new bits like tyres and brakes that don't need replacing.
