Breaking down abroad

My Golf TSI DSG will be three-years-old in May, with 19,000 miles. I am 73 and like my first automatic, but I am concerned it may fail. Each summer we drive to Greece - if the gearbox failed away from home it would be bad news.

Take out a decent breakdown insurance with Britannia Rescue or the RAC.
