Where can I have the 'Anti-skid service required' fault repaired on my Volvo V50?

I own a 2005 Volvo V50 2.4i with 49,000 miles on the clock. The computer now shows me 'Anti-skid Service - Required'. Reading the blog on the Volvo Forum, apparently Volvo have known of this problem for some time. The cost varies quite considerably and I think Volvo should pay towards the replacement as it is an inbuilt fault. This problem has not been subject to a recall, but should it be as it is a safety issue? I would be pleased to receive your comment on this matter.

There are specialists who can fix this well-known fault for about £350 plus the cost of removing and refitting the module. This is the fix always adopted by BMW and now (finally) also adopted by VAG, to save costs. Contact www.ecutesting.com or www.sinspeed.co.uk and suggest via your dealer that Volvo adopts this policy.
