Will the Government remove speed humps from roads as part of the cessation of the war on the motorist?

The Government has declared it will “cease its war” on the motorist whilst diesel has risen to £1.39 a litre. Will it remove its real weapon of mass destruction - the road hump? Probably not.

We'll have to see. I now have a reader case where percussion waves from vehicles mounting speed humps outside his house has cracked the walls. Once councils find themselves having to rebuild people's houses they are going to remove those speed humps promptly.
