Lack of consideration from other drivers

Whilst no Jackie Stewart I consider myself to be a safe, courteous and generally good driver with over 26 years of unblemished driving and a never-endorsed licence.

However, the utter selfishness of other road users continually leaves me speechless. On a weekly 300 mile commute I lose count of the number of drivers occupying the centre lane for no reason whatever.

They effectivley turn a 3-lane road into a 2-lane road unless one is happy to undertake. Further, the number if people who drive in perfectly acceptable conditions with their front fog lights on beggars belief. I always thought that such behaviour was an offence, but I see scant evidence of our over-stretched police force tackling the issue. I wonder what the way forward is.

The front fogs are probably Daytime Running Lights. If the cars concerned are Mercedes or Porsches, then they definitely are.
