Are there problems with the Accord VTEC?

I have test driven a Honda Accord Tourer VTEC 2.0 Exec at 91,000 miles. On for £4999 with full Honda Service History.

Unlike the Accord CDTi which I have written to you about in the past, I cannot see any problems reported with the 2.0 VTEC. Is this engine likely to be good for another 20-30K miles? It drives and looks like new and has the only previous owner as a fleet hire company. Should I buy?

No reason why not. Chain cam engine. May need the valve clearances reshimming, but only if it becomes noisy. Change the oil frequently: every 5,000 miles from now on.
