Vectra heater problems

I have a problem with my 53 reg Vauxhall Vectra petrol. My heater has stopped blowing warm air into the cabin.

I have had my thermostat replaced and still no warm air in the cabin. Also my temp gauge will only move when the car is stationary and running at around 2000 revs. All the pipes in tha engine bay all get hot but still no heat?

I have taken the car to two garages all have no real answer so I was hoping that someone else could put me in the right direction or advise me on my next steps.

Reads like a failed electric valve to the heater. Common at this time of year when drivers start using their heaters after not using them all summer.

Far better than previous Vectra. Now with decent handling and an excellent ride. Plenty of safety kit. Roomy in the front. Big boot. Good looks.
