My brakes have lasted 125,000 miles

I have just had new tyres fitted and took the opprtunity to check brake discs and pads.

The front pads still have 5mm left... so that's 125,000 miles on the original pads and discs front! Rear and only about 70% worn - thats amazing even if most of my miles are on the motorway.
