Recurring limp-mode problem on Zafira

I've reported a recurring problem with my Vauxhall Zafira to the dealership I bought it from over a period of 18 months.

The problem is that the car loses power and goes into "limp mode", showing a warning light. This happened again recently in the fast lane of the M25, almost causing an accident.

On Friday, the dealership took it in again (the third time since August, with various previous visits).

On Saturday, the warranty expired, and today they've returned the car to me having re-set the computer to turn off the warning light but without diagnosing or repairing the fault.

After the last incident, I am scared to drive it knowing that nothing has been done to prevent another incident.

I believe the garage may have known there was a problem when they sold me the car, which was 15 month old when I bought it, although I have no proof of this other than that the fault has manifested itself intermittently ever since purchased.

Is there anything I can do?

Blocked EGR or blocked DPF. Lots of problems with the 1.9 engine. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/vauxhall/zafira-b-20...d
